The Ranger.

"I don't remember it hurting, he said as softly he could manage with his newly hoarsened voice. I don't remember much of anything. But I know that it was calm there, and not what I expected. It was strange in the Inbetween; there was only nothingness and the swirling lavender and indigo abyss. There was almost complete silence there, Ari - the only sound was a babbling stream somewhere in the distance that I couldn't see. It was calm there.

"Why didn't you stay if you liked it so much, then?" I asked sadly. I had never seen him miss something so much.

It may have been calm there, but there was no you. He replied."

Wake Up, The Sun Is Beautiful.

Sat Jan 23, 2010, 2:30 PM
One day I slowly floated away

All the war horses wore rubber bands
To hide their hooves from sinking sand
The commander in charge was hoping
That their destiny was not to die

Wake up in the morning
I shall wake up and so shall you
Wake up, the sun is beautiful
And it is warming you and I
Fragile as we lie

Hard to foresee the future
Our bodies are growing thin
Glimpsing the peeling paint of the nurse's ivory chin
You got a lot of nerve coming here
Your eyes are beating rhythms
Way faster than the speeding bullet
That took the life of your radio

Wake up in the morning
I shall wake up and so shall you
Wake up the sun is beautiful
And it is warming you and I
Fragile as we lie

And in the corner chair, soft and soap-scented
My darling cries apologies
We foresee the mercy
That's been shown my young limbs
Will not go un-thanked or unseen

Wake up in the morning
I shall wake up and so shall you
Wake up the sun is beautiful
And it is warming you and I
Fragile as we lie"

they spoke of the patterns our intertwined limbs had created in their masses,
of the lines of gooseflesh our fingertips had left imprinted on each other’s soft skin. [link]

♥ All I wanna do is just waste away
Bask in the glow of your face today
Blow like the breezes of springtime
Melt into summer's grace. ♥

You're welcome.
I adored it. I was going to comment, but I didn't quite know how to capture how I felt about it in words.

It was truly beautiful.
